Google Workspace is a productivity toolkit. You can use Google Workspace as a data source when landing or replicating data.

Preparing for authentication
To access your Google Workspace data, you need to authenticate the connection with your account credentials.

Navigate to https://console.cloud.google.com/iam-admin/serviceaccounts.
Select your project, or create a new project.

Click Create service account, and name the account Qlik.
Click Create, then click Done.

Click Qlik, then click Show domain wide delegation.
Click Enable G Suite Domain-wide Delegation, then click Save.

Click Keys, then click Add key.
Click Create new key, click Create, then click Close.
This will create a service account key file that you will need when creating the connection.

Click Details, and copy the value in Unique ID.

Navigate to https://admin.google.com.
Click Security, then scroll down and click API controls.

Click Manage domain wide delegation, then click Add new.
Paste the id you copied from Unique ID into the Client ID field.
Set scopes to the following:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.user,https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.user.alias,https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar,https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.group,https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive,https://mail.google.com/

Click Authorize.
Enter your domain name and admin email address, and click Add.
You will need the domain name and admin email address when creating the connection.
Creating the connection

- Fill in the required connection properties.

Provide a name for the connection in Connection name.

Select Open connection metadata to define metadata for the connection when it has been created.

Click Create.

Service Account Key |
Upload the file with the service account key that was created when preparing. |
