SAP Supplier Risk Engagements (Lite)

SAP Supplier Risk Engagements is a platform which simplifies the supplier management process, provides actionable insight, and uses risk alerts and third-party risk assessments to evaluate and mitigate risk exposure.

Preparing for authentication

To access your SAP Supplier Risk Engagements data, you need to authenticate the connection with your account credentials.

Information noteMake sure that the account you use has read access to the tables you want to fetch.

To obtain your Application Key, OAuth Client ID and OAuth Secret:

  1. Go to https://developer.ariba.com and sign in.

  2. Click Manage.

  3. Click the + button next to the search field.

  4. Set Application Name and Description to Qlik Analytical, then click Submit.

  5. Click Actions.

  6. Click Generate OAuth Secret.

  7. Click Request API Access.

  8. Select Analytical Reporting then select your realm and click Submit. You may need to wait 12 hours for this request to be approved.

  9. Once approved click Actions then click Generate OAuth Secret.

  10. Copy and save the Application Key, OAuth Client ID and OAuth Secret in a secured file. You will need them to connect to the application.

Creating the connection

  1. Fill in the required connection properties.
  2. Provide a name for the connection in Connection name.

  3. Select Open connection metadata to define metadata for the connection when it has been created.

  4. Click Create.

Data gateway

Select a Data Movement gateway if required by your use case.

Information note

This field is not available with the Qlik Talend Cloud Starter subscription, as it does not support Data Movement gateway. If you have another subscription tier and do not want to use Data Movement gateway, select None.

API Host

If you are using the EU data center, set it to api-eu.ariba.com for example.

OpenAPI Host

If you are using the EU data center, set it to eu.openapi.ariba.com for example.

Start Date

Start date in the format YYYY-MM-DD.

Example: 2024-05-28.

Application Key

Your application key.

OAuth Client ID

Your OAuth client ID.

OAuth Secret

Your OAuth secret.

Realm

The name of your Realm.
