Connecting to databases
The following database sources are supported in Qlik Cloud Data Integration by using Qlik Data Gateway - Data Movement. Data landed in the target platform is kept up-to-date using CDC (Change Data Capture) technology, or with full loads scheduled to reload periodically.
Part of creating a task to land your data involves configuring the connection to your source database. When you configure the connection to your source database (in the connector), you also need to select which Data Movement gateway to use to access the source. Therefore, before configuring source connectivity, make sure that a Data Movement gateway has been set up for accessing the selected data source and that the required driver is installed on the Data Movement gateway server.
For more information about Qlik Data Gateway - Data Movement, see Qlik Data Gateway - Data Movement.
