Qlik Cloud provides several ways to organize the users that you add to the tenant. The available user types and how you manage users depend on your subscription. With the capacity-based Qlik Cloud Analytics and Qlik Talend Data Integration subscriptions, there are Full User entitlements and, additionally with the higher analytics tiers, Basic User entitlements.
Information noteThis topic is applicable to the Standard, Premium, and Enterprise editions of Qlik Cloud Analytics and Qlik Talend Data Integration. If you have a Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS, Qlik Sense Business, or Qlik Cloud Government subscription, see Managing users - User-based subscriptions.
Add users through an identity provider or send email invitations. Once users are added to the tenant, you can grant permission to specific actions in Qlik Cloud. Permissions are grouped into roles that you can assign to individuals or groups of users.
Tenant
The tenant is your cloud deployment of Qlik Cloud. It is a container for items such as users, apps, and spaces.
The Full User entitlement is applicable to all use cases in Qlik Cloud. As a Full User, you can do anything that your permissions allow, such as create shared spaces, create, edit, and publish sheets or apps, or work with Data Integration.
