Loading data from the data marketplace

You can load data into your app from an existing data product that you can access in the data marketplace.

To access the data marketplace, you need to go to the Qlik Talend Data Integration hub and select Data marketplace from the left menu. This is the central place to manage data products, a grouping of several datasets related to the same business domain. For more information, see Working with data products.

Prerequisites:

• You have an Enterprise level subscription

• You have access to managed spaces where data products are activated.

• You have the Data product consumer role.

1. From the data marketplace, either in consumer mode or manager mode, open the data product of your choice.

2. To start creating the app, you can either:

   • Open a data product in consumer mode and click the Create analytics app button on the top right.

   • Open a data product in manager mode, click the three dots menu icon on the top right, and select Create analytics app from the list of actions.

3. In the corresponding field, enter a Name for app.

4. From the corresponding drop-down list, select in which Space you want to save the app.

5. Add a Description to document the purpose of the app.

6. Add some Tags to the app to make it easier to find.

7. Click Next.

8. Using the corresponding check boxes, select which datasets you want to load into your app, among all the datasets included in your data product, and click Next.

9. Review the summary of the selected data. You can click each individual dataset to get a preview of the fields they contain.

10. Optionally select the Open app check-box to directly view the app once it’s created.

11. Click Load into app.
