Managing a Qlik Sense Business subscription
As a service account owner, you can renew, upgrade, or cancel a Qlik Sense Business subscription at any time from My Qlik. You can also increase or reduce the number of users in your subscription.
Renewing a Qlik Sense Business subscription
Do the following:
- Go to My Qlik and select the subscription you want to renew.
- Click Renew.

Click + or – to specify the number of paid users for the renewal period.
As you increase or decrease the number of users, the monthly cost based on tiered pricing is displayed to the right.
Information noteYou cannot reduce the number of seats below the number of active users in the tenant. If the number of active users is greater than the number you wish to purchase, the service account owner must first remove users and wait minimum two minutes before you proceed with reducing the number of seats. -
Click Continue.
The payment page appears.

To use the credit card on file, ensure that it is selected. Tip noteTo add a new credit card, click Add new payment and enter your new credit card information.
- Click Continue.
The Overview page displays your selections.

Confirm your selection and click Pay.
Once the payment is processed, your subscription is renewed.
Reducing the number of users in Qlik Sense Business
The reduction in users only comes into effect at the beginning of the next subscription period. You will continue to have the same number of seats available until the end of the current period. You can undo a reduction in users any time before the end of the period.
Do the following:
- Go to My Qlik and select the subscription you want to change.
- Click Manage.

Click Reduce seats.

On the Reduce users screen, click + or – to specify the number of paid users for the next subscription period.
As you adjust the number of users, the monthly cost based on tiered pricing is displayed to the right.
Information noteYou cannot reduce the number of seats below the number of active users in the tenant. Click Continue.
A confirmation dialog is displayed providing information about when the change takes effect.

Select the I Understand checkbox and click Confirm.
The subscription tile updates to reflect the request for reduction of users and displays the date on which the change takes effect.
Undoing a seat reduction
You can undo a reduction in users any time before the end of the subscription period.
Do the following:
- In My Qlik, find the subscription that you want to change and click Undo Request.
- Select the I Understand checkbox and click Confirm.
The subscription tile updates to reflect the original number of seats.
Upgrading from Qlik Sense Business to Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS
You can upgrade Qlik Sense Business trials and subscriptions to Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS from My Qlik. You don't need to create a new tenant and all your information and data are maintained.
Do the following:
- Go to My Qlik and select the subscription or trial that you want to upgrade.
- If you are currently on a Qlik Sense Business trial, click Purchase. If you are currently on a Qlik Sense Business subscription, click Manage.
You will be presented with your current trial or subscription details, as well upgrade options.
- Click Upgrade on the Qlik Sense Enterprise tile.

On the Users page select the number of users you want to purchase Professional and Analyzer entitlement for, and click Continue.
Information noteYou can add users to your Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS subscription by clicking Manage. - On the Payment page enter your credit card payment information and click Continue.
- On the Overview page review you order and payment details and click Pay to complete your purchase.
Canceling a Qlik Sense Business subscription
The cancellation comes into effect at the end of your subscription period. You will continue to have access to your subscription until the end of the current period. You can undo the cancellation any time before the end of the period.
Do the following:

Go to My Qlik and select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Click Manage.

Click Cancel subscription.
A confirmation dialog is displayed providing information about the effective date for the cancellation.

Select the I Understand checkbox and click Confirm.
