Navigating Qlik Cloud

When you log into Qlik Cloud for the first time, you will see content around Getting started. This introductory content will be available from the left-hand navigation pane on subsequent logins. Here you will find helpful resources to start using Qlik Cloud Analytics and Data Integration services. These resources include tutorials, demos, and demo apps.

Whether you are primarily an Analytics or Data Integration user, the Home screen is the base from which, depending on your permissions, you can navigate to either Analytics Services, Data Integration, or the Management Console from the Launcher menu.

For users who build and explore data analytics applications with Qlik Cloud Analytics, the cloud hub is the central location for app creation and data exploration. For more information on Qlik Cloud Analytics, see Analyzing data.

For users who deliver data to the cloud using data movement, transformations, and automated data pipelines, access Qlik Cloud Data Integration by selecting Data Integration in the Launcher menu. For more information, see Integrating data.

Qlik Cloud users are increasingly using both services take advantage of Qlik's unified end-to-end platform for real-time data integration and analytics.

The Management Console is available for tenant administrators to manage spaces, user assignments, application and security settings, and other tenant configurations. For more information, see Using the Management Console.

Supported browsers

Qlik Cloud is designed to work on the platform and web browser combinations described in this section, using default browser settings.

Each Qlik Cloud release is tested for compatibility with the latest publicly available browser versions. Due to the frequency of browser version updates, Qlik does not include specific browser version numbers in the system requirements.

Each Qlik Cloud release is compatible with and supported on the latest iOS versions that are publicly available at the time of the Qlik Cloud release. Due to the frequency of iOS version updates, Qlik does not include specific iOS version numbers in the system requirements.

Supported Microsoft Windows browsers

The following browsers can be used on supported Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Windows Server machines to access the Management Console and the hub:

  • Microsoft Edge
  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox (requires hardware acceleration, not supported in virtual environments)

CefSharp embedded browser v55 or later (CefSharp allows you to embed the Chromium open source browser inside .Net apps)

Supported Apple Mac OS browsers

The following browsers can be used on supported Apple Mac OS machines to access the Management Console and the hub:

  • Apple Safari (the last 3 major versions)
  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox (requires hardware acceleration, not supported in virtual environments)
  • Microsoft Edge

iOS/iPadOS

The following browsers can be used on supported devices (script editing is not supported on tablet devices):

  • Apple Safari (the last 3 major versions)
  • Microsoft Edge

Android

The following browsers can be used on supported devices (script editing is not supported on tablet devices):

  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge
