Add Reload Schedules To Applications (versions prior to v2.5)

Last updated: 10/30/2026
Warning note

Superseded by Migrate Tasks on the Tasks tab, which migrates every reload task, standalone tasks and chains alike, and shows what it will do before you run it. This step is hidden on new jobs and kept only so existing jobs keep working; select Migrate Tasks instead.

The Add Reload Schedules to Applications (legacy) step retrieves all applications from the plan and applies basic reload schedules to their respective versions (either in managed/shared or personal spaces) within the Qlik Cloud tenant.

Prerequisite steps

  • Import Applications

Step details

  • Retrieval method:
Applications are identified using their app description, embedded during the Import Applications step.
  • Schedule mapping:
    • For each app, a query is made to extract its Qlik Sense Client-Managed reload schedule.
    • If a valid and enabled schedule exists, a corresponding reload schedule is created in Qlik Cloud.
    • Only the first enabled schedule is selected if multiple are configured.

Notes and warnings

Warning note

The following limitations describe this step only. They do not describe the Qlik Analytics Migration Tool as a whole. Reload tasks and task chains are migrated by the Migrate Tasks step.

  • Chained reloads (apps triggered based on other app reloads) are not supported in this step.
  • Custom reload schedules are not supported in this step.
Information note
  • Apps without a valid enabled schedule in Qlik Sense Client-Managed will be skipped silently.
  • Ensure that reloadable apps are already present in the appropriate space or personal area prior to running this step.
