Qlik NPrinting
The Qlik NPrinting section of the Migration Steps includes all steps that concern migrating reporting assets from a Qlik Sense Client-Managed environment to Qlik Cloud.
Context and purpose
Qlik NPrinting has traditionally been used in Qlik Sense Client-Managed environments to generate and distribute reports in various formats. As organizations move to Qlik Cloud, it becomes important to retain essential reporting components such as templates, filters, and metadata.
The Qlik Analytics Migration Tool facilitates this transition by offering migration steps that extract supported Qlik NPrinting content and prepare it for use in the Qlik Cloud ecosystem.
Retrieval method in Qlik Cloud
Qlik NPrinting objects are retrieved from the source environment and structured into portable formats that can be imported into Qlik Cloud. These migrated objects provide a foundation for rebuilding reporting workflows in the cloud.
