Sample connection strings and syntax

This topic provides sample connection strings and syntax for common drivers. Note that although the examples include sensitive information in the connection strings, due to a known issue with sensitive information being exposed as plain text, such information (for example, passwords, tokens, and so on) should not be included in the connection string. Instead, it should be specified in the Encrypted Properties fields, as in the following example:
