Preparing for authentication

To access your Jira Cloud Platform data, you need to authenticate the connection with your Jira Cloud Platform account credentials. Make sure that your credentials only contain ASCII characters. Your credentials are saved in the connection.

Creating the connection

Fill in the required connection properties.
Provide a name for the connection in Connection name.
Select Open connection metadata to define metadata for the connection when it has been created.
Click Create.

Setting	Description
Data gateway	Wählen Sie ein Data Movement Gateway aus, das beim Replizieren von Daten verwendet werden soll.
Domain	The domain name for your organisation. Example: https://your-domain.atlassian.net
User email	Email address for your Atlassian account.
User API token	An API token for your Atlassian account. For more information about finding an API token, see Manage API tokens for your Atlassian account.

You cannot authenticate the connector using your Jira Cloud Platform credentials
