TPS-6015 (cumulative patch)

Introduction

This patch is cumulative. It includes all previous generally available patches for Talend Dictionary Service 1.1.7.

NOTE: For information on how to obtain this patch, reach out to your Support contact at Talend.

This patch ensures secrets (MongoDB, S3, PAT) are encrypted at first startup, remain encrypted, and are readable by the application at all times.

• DGHT-578 Ensure secrets are encrypted at startup and remain secure

Prerequisites

Consider the following requirements for your system:

• Talend Dictionary Service 1.1.7 must be installed.

Installation

1- Stop the service

• run stop.sh or stop.bat

2- Backup dq_dict

• Copy <install_dir>/dq_dict folder content to a safe place

3- Apply patch

• Copy hybrid-link.jar in <install_dir>/dq_dict folder (overwrite the existing file)
• Copy start.sh in <install_dir>/dq_dict folder (overwrite the existing file)
• Copy start.bat in <install_dir>/dq_dict folder (overwrite the existing file)

4- Start the service

• run start.sh or start.bat
