Google AdSense

Google AdSense is an advertising platform for online publishers. You can use Google AdSense as a data source when landing or replicating data.

Depending on your use case, you might need to install Pasarela Data Movement to move data from SaaS applications. For more information, see ¿Cuándo es obligatorio Pasarela Data Movement?.

Preparing for authentication

To access your Google AdSense data, you need to authenticate the connection with your account credentials.

Navigate to https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/library/adsense.googleapis.com
If Enable is displayed, click Enable.
Click Manage.
Click Credentials.
Click Create Credentials.
Click OAuth Client ID.
Click Application type.
Click Web application.
After Authorized redirect URIs, click ADD URI.

Enter the url https://connector.qlik.com/auth/oauth/v3.htm
Click Create.
Copy the client id and the client secret, you will need them when creating the connection.

Creating the connection

Click Authenticate when you have filled in the required connection settings.

You may be asked to log in to the source application.

A window is displayed with an authentication code.
Copy the code to the clipboard and return to the connection dialog.
Paste the code in Complete authentication with the code provided by the source and click Verify.

When status is Verified,the authentication is verified.
Provide a name for the connection in Connection name.
Select Open connection metadata to define metadata for the connection when it has been created.

Setting	Description
Data gateway	Seleccione una Pasarela Data Movement si su caso de uso así lo requiere. Nota informativa Este campo no está disponible con la suscripción Qlik Talend Cloud Starter porque Pasarela Data Movement no se admite. Si tiene otro nivel de suscripción y no desea utilizar Pasarela Data Movement, seleccione Ninguna. Client ID	OAuth client ID that you created when preparing.
Client Secret	OAuth client secret that you created when preparing.
Account ID	Account ID in Google AdSense.
Report Start Date	Start date for saved reports in the format YYYY-MM-DD. Reports are loaded in daily windows up to the current date. Example: 2022-01-01
