Braintree

Braintree is an online and in-app payment platform.

Depending on your use case, you might need to install Data Movement gateway to move data from SaaS applications. For more information, see När krävs Data Movement gateway?.

Preparing for authentication

To access your Braintree data, you need to authenticate the connection with your account credentials.

To generate an API key:

In Braintree, click the cog icon and navigate to API.
Click Generate new API key.
Click View.
Copy the API key.

Make sure that the account you use has read access to the tables you want to fetch.

Creating the connection

For more information, see Koppla till SaaS-program.

Fill in the required connection properties.
Provide a name for the connection in Connection name.
Select Open connection metadata to define metadata for the connection when it has been created.
Click Create.

Setting	Description
Data gateway	Välj en Data Movement gateway om det krävs för ditt användningsfall. Merchant Id	Merchant ID. In Braintree, click the cog icon and navigate to API.
Public Key	Public key. In Braintree, click the cog icon and navigate to API.
Private Key	Private key. In Braintree, click the cog icon and navigate to API.
Start Date	Start date of the transaction in the format `YYYY-MM-DD`. Example: 2024-05-28
