Reset App Descriptions

The Reset App Descriptions step retrieves all Qlik Cloud applications from the selected plan and resets their app descriptions to the values that were originally present in Qlik Sense Client-Managed during the export process.

Step details

• Retrieval method:
  Apps are resolved using the description metadata added during the Import Applications step. This metadata includes the original app ID and description from the source environment.

• Behavior:
  The app description in Qlik Cloud is restored to match what was defined in the source Qlik Sense Client-Managed environment prior to migration. This ensures cleaner presentation and eliminates any temporary identifiers used to trace app lineage.
