New Qlik Talend Data Integration platform navigation

Tenant administrators can optionally turn on a new navigation experience for their tenant. The new Qlik Cloud navigation experience introduces a revised navigation bar and replaces the platform hubs with activity centers.

The Data Integration hub is reorganized as the Qlik Talend Data Integration activity center. This activity center offers the same features and sections as the Data Integration hub, along with new features.

Navigation bar and menu

The revised navigation bar includes many of the same elements as the previous bar but changes some menus and elements.

The Add new button has been removed from the navigation bar. Instead, your create objects by switching to a specific context and clicking Create <object>. For example, to create a new connection, navigate to Data Integration > Connections and click Create connection.

The new navigation menu () provides navigation to the activity centers available to the user. The availability of activity centers depends on a user's roles in the tenant and permissions in spaces.

The Qlik Talend Data Integration activity center provides options for delivering data ready to Qlik Cloud or to cloud data warehouses.

This activity center contains the following sections:

  Monitoring and operating your data tasks

  Connecting to data sources

  Connecting to targets

• Automations

  Qlik Application Automation
