Redirect block

The Redirect block can be used for automations that are executed manually by a person and where a redirect needs to occur to a certain webpage.

Example use case: an automation is created that performs updates on contacts in a CRM. The automation has some inputs (e.g. email address and name) and it will update the contact in the CRM based on the inputs. After that, the user needs to be redirected to the detail page of that contact in the CRM.

Note that this only works for automations that are executed manually using the Run button. This will not work for scheduled or triggered automations.

Example:

The Redirect block in use.

an automation consisting of a Start block, a Get Contact By Id block, and a Redirect block. The Redirect block is selected. The Url field is filled with a sample Url that is completed by data from the Get Contact By Id block.
