ServiceNow provides enhanced management and tracking of IT systems and day-to-day operations. You can use ServiceNow as a data source when landing or replicating data.

Depending on your use case, you might need to install Data Movement gateway to move data from SaaS applications. For more information, see Quando è richiesto il Data Movement gateway?.

Preparing for authentication

To access your ServiceNow data, you need to authenticate the connection with your ServiceNow account credentials.

Make sure that the account you use has read access to the tables you want to fetch.

Creating the connection

For more information, see Connessione alle applicazioni SaaS.

Fill in the required connection properties.
Provide a name for the connection in Connection name.
Select Open connection metadata to define metadata for the connection when it has been created.
Click Create.

Data gateway	Selezionare un Data Movement gateway se richiesto dal proprio caso di utilizzo. Instance	ServiceNow instance. To obtain your instance in ServiceNow, navigate to System Web Services > REST > REST API Explorer. In any request URL your instance is included like: https://<INSTANCE>.service-now.com/api/now/.
Username	The user name associated with your ServiceNow account.
Password	Password for the ServiceNow account.
