The Qlik Slack Connector enables you to select data from your Slack account, such as lists of available public channels or private messages, and load it into your Qlik Sense app or QlikView document.

Ways to access your data

To access your Slack data, you need to authenticate the connector with your Slack account credentials.

Loading data from tables

After you authenticate the connector with your account credentials, you can use the following tables to select and load data:

Table Description
AllUsers

Returns a list of users, including deactivated and deleted users.

Channels Returns a list of public channels and archived channels available to the authenticated user. It does not include private channels.
Messages Returns a list of messages from a specific Slack channel.
PrivateGroups Returns a list of private channels and archived private channels available to the authenticated user.
PrivateMessages Returns a list of private messages from a private group that is available to the authenticated user.
