Select and load data from a Teradata database

Once you have created a connection to an Teradata database, you can select data and load it into a Qlik Sense app or a QlikView document. In Qlik Sense, you load data through the Add data dialog or the Data load editor. In QlikView, you load data through the Edit Script dialog.

Note: The SELECT statement does not include a WHERE clause, but one can be added in the Data load editor after the script built automatically in the script panel is inserted there. The SELECT statement for the Teradata Connector supports the addition of WHERE clause.
Note:

The Teradata Connector supports Direct Discovery. The SELECT statement can be edited in the Data load editor and the Edit Script dialog to create a DIRECT QUERY statement.

Use Direct Discovery with the ODBC Connectors.
