Troubleshooting for tQASBatchAddressRow

When running a Job using the tQASBatchAddressRow component, the following error may occur: QABatchWV_Open failed [-1031] Handle out of range (Unable to close instance).

To prevent this error, do one of the following:
  • Install the R2021-07 Studio monthly update or later. The issue has been fixed.
  • Update the path to the configuration file. In this example, the path is "C:/data/Experian/QAS_Batch_API/QAWORLD.INI"

Procedure

  1. Go to the Basic settings.
  2. In Specify the configuration file, replace / by \\: "C:\\data\\Experian\\QAS_Batch_API\\QAWORLD.INI"
  3. You can also leave the path empty: "".
    When the path is not specified, the API checks for the configuration file in the installation folder whose the default location is C:\Program Files\QAS\QuickAddress Batch API or C:\Program Files (x86)\QAS\QuickAddress Batch API.
