NTLM authorization

NTLM resolves user login towards your Active Directory (using the service account).

The corresponding user or group must be defined in the Users Setting of NodeGraph to gain access. If the identifier is missing, the user will see all modules greyed-out and will have no container access. Both users and groups can be used if group expansion has not been disabled in the NG configuration (see User management with connection to active directory).

Referencing AD users/groups is done by using the domain\entity naming convention as username on NG side.

The Users tab in NodeGraph Settings displays a list of usernames, admin and container admin status, container security tags, and data catalog roles for each user.
