Browsing the File System

For security purposes, not all of the repository file system may be browsed for files, e.g., when creating a new imported model to harvest. Instead, one should specify the precise locations on the file system where users are able to browse and does so as part of the installation and configuration file settings (More details may be found in the deployment guide).

In the past, TDC allowed one to specify a * for the configuration setting and this would include all default locations. This behavior is no longer valid. Instead, when configuring TDC, you will have to explicitly identify those locations to include in the browse list.
