Native Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server Support for Agentic AI

TDC includes Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that can be enabled by administrators when managing AI providers.

The TDC MCP Server provide two different sets of tools, resources, and prompts:

• Metadata Management MCP - give AI agents access to governed metadata assets (lineage, catalog, governance, models) from the shared metadata repository. The server delivers the same information available through the user interface or REST API.

• Semantic Hub MCP - Delivers curated context from governed, compiled semantic models and the linked ontology. Agents receive canonical definitions with their business vocabulary already wired in, and generate deterministic queries against the warehouse. Context Sandbox validates through this MCP server.
