Creating a Studio resource while creating/editing a task

Before you begin

You must have the Studio connections and Studio resources - Edit (TMC_CONNECTION_RESOURCE_EDIT) user permission and the Author workspace permission assigned for the workspace where the resource is stored.

About this task

After clicking the Add Studio resource button while creating or editing a task, the Add Studio resource wizard opens. You can create a Studio resource based on the parameters defined in the artifact that is used in the task.

Procedure

  1. In the Add Studio resource wizard, select the workspace in which to create the resource.
  2. Enter the resource name.
  3. Optional: Enter a description for the resource.
  4. Select the file to upload.
  5. Click Save.

Results

When the Studio resource is created, you are redirected to the create/edit task wizard and the new Studio resource is selected in the drop-down list.
