Managing environments

An environment is a self-contained space with the required resources (connections, engines, and so on) that allow the execution of tasks and plans in isolation, with no impacts on other environments.

The first time you log in to Talend Management Console only the default environment is available.

You can navigate between environments by using the Environment filter at the top of the Operations, Management and Processing pages.

About this task

From the Environments page, you can see all the existing environments for your account. Each environment contains a number of workspaces and a list of engines and engine clusters.

From the details panel of an environment, you can see the information such as its ID, number of allocated Cloud Engines and description in the Overview tab, and the list of workspaces in the Workspaces tab.
