Reading the JSON file

Procedure

  1. Double-click tFileInputJSON_1 to open its Basic settings view.
  2. Select JsonPath without loop from the Read By drop-down list.
  3. Click the [...] button next to Edit schema to open the schema editor.
  4. Click the [+] button to add one row and name it, for example, to data.
  5. Click OK to validate these changes and accept the propagation prompted by the pop-up dialog box.
A row is added in the Mapping table, with data filled in the Column column.
  6. In the Filename field, browse, or enter the path to the source JSON file ("D:/cert/sce.json" in this scenario) in which the parameter to be sent is stored.
  7. Enter the JSON path of the element of the JSON file in the JSONPath query column of the Mapping table.
The content of the element will be sent to the HTTP server. In this scenario, the JSON path is echo[0].data.
