Creating a traffic light

Videominiatyr
In this video, learn how to create a traffic light chart in Qlik Sense using a table. We’ll guide you through the steps of adding a table chart to your sheet and customizing it with dimensions and measures to visually represent your data using traffic light symbols. First, we’ll show you how to add a table chart to your sheet. We’ll then add a dimension, in this case, the category name. Next, we’ll add a measure to the first column by creating an expression to calculate the profit. We’ll also demonstrate how to label this measure and format it as a percentage. After that, we’ll add another column to the table to insert a Unicode large circle symbol in the expression editor and label it as "Traffic light." We’ll use the pick function with an expression that calculates the profit and assigns different colors to the Unicode symbol based on the result. The colors selected for this example are light red, yellow, light green, and green. By the end of this video, you’ll have a traffic light chart in your Qlik Sense table that visually represents profit results with colored Unicode symbols.
