Navigating in the user interface

Qlik Sense is a web-based application with a number of different views to work in.

Hubs are your starting point and where you see will all your apps. You can view and interact with apps in any hub. You create new apps in the Qlik Sense Enterprise hub.

Depending on how your organization has deployed Qlik Sense Enterprise, you may also have one or more cloud hubs. Your administrator will provide you with a web address to start using Qlik Sense. That address will determine the hub that opens for you.

In the Qlik Sense Enterprise hub, you can create, develop, publish, and consume apps, depending on the privileges assigned to you by your Qlik Sense administrator.

In a cloud hub, you can view and interact with apps that an app developer has published from the Qlik Sense Enterprise hub.

A cloud hub in Qlik Sense Enterprise is different from Qlik Sense Cloud, which is the standalone software as a service offering from Qlik. You cannot, for example, publish directly from Qlik Sense Enterprise to Qlik Sense Cloud.
