Talend Runtime 8.0

Talend Runtime 8.0.1-R2026-06 RT (Camel 4) is available as a complete installation package. It is also available as a patch for 8.0.1-R2025-02-RT, including monthly updates and cumulative fixes. Consult the R2026-06-RT patch notes for detailed information on new features, improvements, and resolved issues.

Java 21 support for Data Service Jobs and Routes

First introduced in R2026-05, Java 21 support in Talend Runtime continues in R2026-06 with expanded compatibility for Jobs and Routes built with Talend Studio R2026-06.

Talend Runtime 8.0.1-R2026-06 supports Java 21.

When Talend Runtime is installed or running on JVM 21, it supports Data Service Jobs and Routes built in these ways:

Built with the default Java 17 build mode.
Built with Talend Studio R2025-11 or later when the compiler compliance level is set to Java 21 (-Dtarget.compliance=java21).
Built with Talend Studio R2026-06 with Java 21 (full JDK 21 compliance level).
