Talend Remote Engine v2.14.2 is generally available.

New features

Feature Description
Java 21 support Talend Remote Engine v2.14.2 supports Java 21 for engine startup and for execution of Talend Management Console tasks, using either manual mode or adaptive mode:
  1. Startup: Starting from v2.14.0, in addition to Java 17, Java 21 can also be used for engine startup.
  2. Execution: Starting from v2.14.2, Java 21 can be used to run Talend Management Console tasks.
Lineage history retention A lineage history retention mechanism has been introduced. Processed lineage execution folders are archived under <InstallDir>/data/lineage/history/ and cleaned up automatically based on configurable retention and cleanup intervals.

Notable fixes

Issue Description
SUPPORT-8695 Fixed an issue where Talend Remote Engine may be intermittently marked unavailable in Talend Management Console. The issue was caused by a heartbeat thread blockage when a TLS handshake held the ActiveMQ failover transport lock.
SUPPORT-7215 Fixed a parallel Job execution error that may occur after upgrading Talend Remote Engine.
