Feature Description
Dynamic Engine v0.21.0

Dynamic Engine v0.21.0 introduces support for running Data Services and Routes, Helm chart deployment, and lineage data collection.

  • Availability-noteBeta
This version enables running Data Services and Routes in Dynamic Engine. This feature is currently in private beta, available to EAP (Early Adopter Programs) users only.
  • Availability-noteBeta
Dynamic Engine Helm charts are now available to simplify the deployment procedure of Dynamic Engine instances and associated environments.

This beta feature is currently command-line only. Its UI support will be available soon in Talend Management Console.

  • Lineage data collection capabilities have been implemented for Dynamic Engine.

No specific configuration is needed on the engine side, but tasks must have been configured to use lineage. The artifacts associated with these tasks must be published from Studio version R2025-04 or later, or an older version with at least the R2025-04 patch installed.

For further information about data lineage collection, see Enabling lineage collection for Job tasks and Data lineage.

For the changelog of this release, see Dynamic Engine v0.21.0 release.
Information noteTip: Version 0.21.0 supports the standard upgrade process for versions 0.19.0 and later. However, upgrading from versions prior to 0.19.0 must follow a different procedure. If you are upgrading from a version earlier than 0.19.0, a complete re-installation of environment resources is necessary. See Guidelines for upgrading to Dynamic Engine v0.19.0 for specific instructions on this process.
