Navigating in the user interface
Qlik Sense is a web-based application with a number of different views to work in. You choose your view depending on whether you are building a data model, exploring and discovering data, or working with data storytelling.
The hub | The hub is your starting point and it is where you find all your apps. You create new apps from here. | |
App overview | When you open an app from the hub, you arrive at the app overview. From here you see and manage all the content the app contains (such as sheets, stories, and bookmarks). | App overview |

Data load editor | You use the data load editor to create, edit, and run the script that loads data into your app. | Data load editor |
Data model viewer | You use the data model viewer to get an overview of the data you have loaded into your app. | Data model viewer |
Sheet view | You arrive at sheet view when you open a sheet in an app. It is here you develop and analyze apps. | |
Storytelling view | You arrive at storytelling view when you open a story in an app. It is here you build and play stories based on your data discoveries and insights. | Storytelling view |
