Automatic migration

Last updated: 11/3/2026

An automatic migration requires only the selection of a source environment.

Region Mover identifies and migrates all assets associated with the environment.

Selecting the source environment

Procedure

  1. For Source environment, select the environment to migrate.
  2. In the information box displayed below the selection, review the associated spaces, engines, tasks, plans, and artifacts.

The Migrate button is enabled after the tasks, plans, and artifacts are loaded.

    Associated assets review.

Running the migration

Procedure

Click Migrate to begin the migration.
The migration progress screen displays real-time status updates for each asset. For more information, see Migration behavior.

Tasks, plans, and artifacts

About this task

An automatic migration applies the following rules to tasks, plans, and artifacts:
  • Tasks are migrated one at a time, each with the associated artifact.
  • The artifact keeps the same version as in the source tenant. The artifact is not updated to the latest version.
  • Tasks and plans are migrated with the associated triggers and are paused in the target tenant.
  • Artifacts not used by any task in the environment are not migrated. These artifacts are displayed in grey in the information box.
