Custom domain for your Hub

The default URL of your Hub is a subdomain of Blendr.io e.g. yoursubdomain.admin.blendr.io (for the EU instance).

You can request Blendr.io to configure a custom domain for your Hub, please contact support to request this.

Make sure to create following CNAME record in the nameservers (DNS) of your domain first:

yourcustomdomain.com CNAME yoursubdomain.admin.blendr.io

For example, if you want to use integrations.acme.com as custom domain, and your current domain is acme.admin.blendr.io, you have to configure following CNAME record:

integrations.acme.com CNAME acme.admin.blendr.io

SSL verification

Blendr.io will create an SSL certificate for your custom domain on Amazon AWS, and you will have to verify ownership of your custom domain, in order for the SSL certificate to be issues.

You can choose between 2 types of verification:

  • Via email
  • Via a DNS CNAME record

Please mention in your email to Blendr.io support, which method you prefer.

If you choose verification by email, you will receive an email on the following mail addresses (you may receive multiple emails but you only have to approve once):

admin@yourcustomdomain.com, hostmaster@yourcustomdomain.com etc.

For the above example, the email addresses used would be admin@integrations.acme.com, hostmaster@integrations.acme.com etc. You will have to make sure that you are able to receive these emails.

If you choose verification using a DNS record, Blendr.io support will provide you with the exact DNS record (CNAME record to an AWS domain) to configure for your custom domain.
