In the Repository tree view of Talend Studio, right-click DB
Connections under the Metadata
node and select Create connection from the
contextual menu to open the Database
Connection wizard.
Fill in the general properties of the connection, such as Name and Description
and click Next to open a new view on the wizard
to define the connection details.
In the DB Type field of the Database Connection wizard, select SAS and fill in the fields that follow with SAS
connection information.
If needed, click the Check tab to verify if
your connection is successful.
If needed, define the properties of the database in the corresponding fields
in the Database Properties area.
Click Finish to validate your changes and
close the wizard.
The newly set connection to the defined database displays under the DB Connections folder in the Repository tree view. This connection has several sub-folders
among which Table schemas will group all
schemas relative to this connection after schema retrieval.
