Deploying Dynamic Engine
Dynamic Engine is a Kubernetes-native execution engine that runs artifacts on your own infrastructure and is managed through Talend Management Console.
Unlike Talend Remote Engine, which you can directly download from the Download page, Dynamic Engine deployment files must be generated from Talend Management Console and applied to your Kubernetes cluster.
Dynamic Engine runs artifacts on a Kubernetes cluster you manage. It provides elastic scaling and centralized lifecycle management through Talend Management Console.
The high-level deployment sequence is:
- Verify that Talend Management Console is operational and that you have Infrastructure Administrator or Environment Administrator access.
- Create the logical entities for Dynamic Engine and Dynamic Engine environments in Talend Management Console.
- Generate the engine deployment files from Talend Management Console.
- Apply the files to your Kubernetes cluster.
For complete prerequisites, deployment steps, and configuration options, see the Dynamic Engine Configuration Guide.
