Visualizations and dashboards
New chart hover and selection designs
Providing better customization, we have re-designed the look of chart hover menus and selections, enhancing chart rendering with new visual styling options.
Germany, Japan, and Nordic selected in the Region filter pane.
App developers can hide the toolbar and sheet header in apps
New app styling settings in App options allow you to turn the toolbar and sheet header on or off for all sheets. Turning the toolbar and/or sheet header off provides more space for content and allows you to customize selections for titles and the navigation bar.
Hide or show measures in a bar chart based on conditions
New bar chart options have been added, allowing app developers to enable toggling across different dimensions or measures within the same chart. The ability to add a simple toggle switch using the show condition expression gives developers more control, improves customization, and saves space. Users will appreciate significant time savings with the ability to toggle across the variables associated with their bar chart data.

Styling improvements to charts
New styling improvements are available for several Qlik Sense charts, giving app developers more customization options when building visualizations, allowing them to conform to company, department, or personal style standards and preferences.

New content for styling visualizations
The Qlik Sense documentation has been updated with new content detailing how to style text, customize the background, and adjust other properties in visualizations. Content has been added for all visualizations supporting newly added customization options.
Insight Advisor
New visibility into app enablement status in the hub
When natural language capabilities (Insight Advisor Search and Chat) are enabled for an app, we now show a notification banner with the enablement status of the app. This helps customers know when apps are ready to support search, so they do not try to access the feature before indexing is complete.
Data sources
Apache Parquet files are now supported as Qlik Sense data source
Apache Parquet is a columnar storage format, highly efficient for storing and querying large datasets. In Qlik Sense on Windows, you can read data from Parquet files, and store tables as Parquet files. Using Parquet allows for efficient querying of specific columns in a table rather than reading the entire table. This makes it well-suited for use with big data processing. Also, Parquet supports efficient compression and encoding of data which can further reduce storage space and improve query performance.

Connectors
Twitter connector is temporarily unavailable
The connector for Twitter was deprecated after Twitter changed the structure for the available API access levels and removed the broader access to analytics via Twitter API v1.1. Twitter API v2 is now required, which is not supported in the current connector for Twitter. A new connector for Twitter is intended to be released later this year.
