Qlik Sense Enterprise Client-Managed compatibility
QV2QS targets Qlik Cloud and generates output using the latest Qlik Cloud visualization types. The converted apps use current-generation objects such as the latest table and pivot table, layout containers, and other Qlik Cloud-native components.
Importing a QV2QS-generated QVF into Qlik Sense Enterprise Client-Managed (QSECM) may work depending on the QSECM version, but this scenario is not tested across all versions or officially supported. Because QV2QS builds to the latest Qlik Cloud visualization types, some of these object types may not be present or fully functional in a given QSECM release. Objects that rely on visualization types unavailable in QSECM would need to be recreated manually, which can reduce the benefits of automated conversion.
QV2QS is designed for migration to Qlik Cloud. Using the Export QVF or Local only workflows to target QSECM is discouraged because the latest Qlik Cloud visualization types are not guaranteed to be available in QSECM. The results may be fully functional on some QSECM versions, but this configuration is not tested across all versions or officially supported.
