User interface
The user interface is a wizard-style interface that guides through the full conversion process. The wizard opens in the default browser after double-clicking QV2QS.exe or running the executable with the --ui flag. The wizard presents steps in order; steps that do not apply to the selected workflow mode are hidden automatically.
- Wizard steps — Configure each step of the wizard: workflow mode, project source, output, Qlik Cloud settings, styling, advanced options, conversion report, review, and run.
- Executive summary dashboard — Review the interactive post-conversion dashboard with KPI cards, triage cards, detail tabs, and HTML export.
Dark mode
The user interface defaults to dark mode on first launch. Click the theme toggle button in the top-right corner of the title bar to switch between light and dark mode. The preference is saved and persists across sessions, even when the application restarts on a different port.
The standalone HTML executive summary inherits the active theme when opened via Open in new tab. A theme toggle button is available in the standalone page to switch modes independently. The selected theme is embedded in the HTML file, so saved or shared files retain the theme without requiring the QV2QS server.
