Migration approach
The primary goal of QV2QS is to reproduce the QlikView UI as closely as possible in Qlik Sense. The conversion reduces migration effort — typically by an order of magnitude compared to manual recreation — allowing organizations to migrate in a phased approach without disrupting existing users or workflows. End users continue working with familiar dashboards while gaining access to Qlik Cloud platform capabilities such as Qlik AutoML, Qlik Automate, natural language interaction, alerting, and collaboration features.
Once applications are running on Qlik Cloud, teams can redesign individual sheets or build new analytics using Qlik Sense best practices at a pace that fits the organization. QV2QS handles the initial conversion so that migration does not require a simultaneous redesign of every application.
