Database migration across servers

Follow the steps below to migrate your database to a new server.

1. Copy the Qlik Alerting database from the current server.

2. Perform a database dump operation to transfer the copied database content to the new server.

   Information noteKeep the same database version.

3. Install Qlik Alerting on the new server. Copy the Qlik Alerting configuration from the previous server.

Once completed, you'll be able to use Alerting on the new server in the same way as on the previous one.
