Importing workflows in the BPM perspective

Talend Studio enables you to import workflows in the BPM perspective. Once imported, you can automatically generate Processes based on these workflows. For more information on how to generate a Process based on a workflow, see Generating a workflow execution Process.

Before you begin

You have already connected to the MDM server from the Talend Studio.

About this task

To import a workflow in the BPM perspective, do the following:

Procedure

  1. Click Diagram > Import.... A dialog box appears.
  2. Click the Browse button to browse to the file that you want to import.
    The selected file will be shown in the Select a file to import filed.
  3. Click Import to validate your changes.
    The imported workflow process will be displayed.
