The Continuous Integration and Deployment server, Jenkins for example, manages:

deployment and scheduling of the tasks via the MetaServlet.

deployment of the artifacts in Nexus and/or Docker once their quality is ensured using the Talend CI Builder plugin.

Nexus stores the Job artifacts in the Nexus repositories of your choice.
In order not to use Git or SVN in the development and production environment, "no-storage" projects holding the previously generated Job archives need to be created in these environments.
