File Share (SMB)
Server Message Block (SMB) serves as a network file-sharing protocol allowing applications and users to access and share files.
You must install Qlik Data Gateway - Data Movement. For more information, see Setting up Qlik Data Gateway - Data Movement for knowledge marts.
Preparing for authentication
To access your data, you need to authenticate the connection with your account credentials.
Creating the connection
- Fill in the required connection properties.

Provide a name for the connection in Name.

Click Test connection to verify the configuration.

When the test is successful, click Create.
