Defining Talend Cloud environment

About this task

After selecting the task artifact origin, you need to specify the target deployment environment in Talend Management Console. A Talend Cloud task is always associated to a specific Talend Management Console environment and workspace.

Procedure

  1. Select from the drop-down menu the environment and its respective workspace where the Talend Administration Center tasks will be migrated.
  2. Specify the target runtime.
    A Talend Management Console task can be deployed on three types of runtimes:
    • Cloud Engine
    • Remote Engine
    • Cluster of Remote Engines

    The lists of Remote Engine and Remote Engine clusters are updated based on the selected environment and workspace.

  3. Select the targeted runtime among the three types.
