Selecting the context with which to run the analysis

- You have selected the Profiling perspective.
- At least one context has been created in the analysis editor. For further information, see Creating one or multiple contexts for the same analysis.
Procedure

In the Data Filter view and in the
Where box, either:
- enter the name of the context variable you want to use to run the analysis using context. followed by the variable name, or
- press
Ctrl + space
to open
the list of context variables created in the
Profiling
perspective and from which you can select a variable of your
choice.
This list will be empty until you define context variables in the Contexts view in the analysis editor.
In this example, type context.where_clause in the Where box.You can use only one context variable to run the analysis. Multiple variables are not supported. -
In the Context Group Settings view, select from the list
the context environment you want to use to run the analysis,
prod for this example.
The variables of the selected context will show in the table.
All context environments you create in the Contexts view in the analysis editor or you import from the Talend Studio repository will be accessible from this list. -
Run the analysis.

Right-click Row Count in the table and select
View rows.
The SQL Editor opens listing only the data rows where postal code starts with 75.
