Configuring Active Directory Domain Services
Procedure
- From the , install Active Directory Domain Services.

Go to the notifications displayed on the top-right of the screen and click the
link Promote this server to a domain controller to open
Active Directory Domain Services Configuration wizard:

Select Add a new forest. Then fill Root
domain name field and click
Next.

Set the Directory Services Restore Mode password. Then click
Next.

Select Add a new forest. Then fill Root
domain name field and click
Next.
