Upcoming changes for Qlik Cloud and Talend Cloud alignment

Renaming of workspaces and workspace permissions

To align Talend Management Console with Qlik Cloud, Workspaces will be renamed Spaces.

Workspace permissions will be renamed and their order will be changed to align with the Qlik space permissions: Viewer (View), Editor (Author), Operator (Execute) and Publisher (Publish).

These changes will apply to all Talend Cloud regions including the Azure US West region and will be progressively available from the end of January 2026.

Upcoming changes for UI

New storage service endpoint for unified access to artifacts and execution logs:

This storage service is planned to be deployed to AWS EU and AWS US in January 2026. Ensure to update your proxy and firewall settings from now on.

Upcoming changes for API

The following filter changes to task execution API endpoints are planned for early March 2026.

Recent days: Filter for tasks executed in the last n days (for example, 1 for yesterday, 5 for the past five days)
- Default: 7 days (reduced from 60 days)
- Maximum: 10 days (reduced from 60 days)
Date/time period: A custom period using from and to parameters in the past. Maximum range: 10 days (reduced from 60 days)
Offset: Maximum offset is set to 1,000.
Examples on using offset with this new limitation are going to be provided in the API documentation.

New features

Feature	Description
Studio patches from the Downloads page	You can now see several patches in the new Version list in the Studio update tile from the Downloads page. This list shows only the patches which have the same version as the ones of the account licenses.
Quick search in Operations and Management pages	You can now see the recently viewed items in the quick search in the Operations and Management pages.
New design for Projects and Promotions pages	The new design in the Projects and Promotions pages allows you to show, hide, or resize columns. You can now use the faceted search in the Promotions page to filter the list of promotions.
Renaming of the Administrate API Designer permission	The Administrate API Designer permission has been renamed API Designer - Administrate.
New service to access storage	A new storage service endpoint has been deployed to provide unified access to artifacts and execution logs. The service URL to be added to your allowlist is: https://storage.<your-region>.cloud.talend.com For more information on Talend Management Console regions, see Adding URLs to your proxy and firewall allowlist. The service is available in all regions except AWS EU and AWS US. Support for these regions is planned for January 2026.

Deprecated and removed items

Feature	Description
Deprecated Manage workspace permission	As explained in the New features section, as part of the permission model change in Talend Management Console, the Manage workspace permission is now deprecated and is planned to be removed in December 2025. Begin migrating your permission configuration now to use the new permission model. For further information, see Migrating the Manage workspace permission.
