In the Preferences dialog box of Talend Studio, you can
create and manage Job script templates.
To create a Job script template, follow the steps below.
Procedure
In the Preferences dialog box, expand the
Jobscript node and click
Templates to open the Templates
view.
Click New... to open the New
template wizard.
In the Name field, type in the name of your
template.
In the Context list, select the context in which the
template will be proposed in the Job script when you press
Ctrl+Space.
Select the Automatically insert check box if you want
the template to expand automatically on Ctrl+Space when
there is no other matching template available.
In the Description field, type in a description of your
template, if needed.
In the Pattern field, type in the template
content.
Click Insert Variable... to insert a variable in your
template.
Click OK to go back to the template list, which displays
the template you just created.
Click Apply to apply the changes and click
OK to close the dialog box.
